Oh man, that was a scary moment

Sorry, no drawing on this time and my camera is still on the way.

I have been sitting on this couch a lot, writing support-letters, writing e-mails, making a few drawing and doing other stuff. Actually this couch is too low and the table too. Then suddenly I threw coffee over my laptop and my digital pen tablet...

The laptop survived just fine, but the pen tablet is still a mess. Yesterday it was not working at all, today the life (electicity) was back, but the coffee innit makes my laptop go weird, with scrolling and clicking and things. Let's hope things will be better tomorrow...

Well, some good news then. Yeah, we finally (after 2 year) have a normal working scanner at Borgen. There used to be one that was not connected to the net and you had to burn your files on a CD to get your files on another computer...
And I have been studying facial expressions in comics, especially Calvin and Hobbes. A guy called Paul Ekman has been doing study on facial expressions that are recognized as being the same all over the world. They are Anger, Fear, Disgust, Joy, Sadness and Surprise. All possible facial expessions are a combination of those in smaller or greater degree.

So, the thing I have been doing is to see what of those expressions are being used in the Calvin and Hobbes comics. And then I am thinking about how I will use them for Øystein comics. I don't think it is the best method, but I had to start somewhere.
