Christmas Tree / Kerstboom

Here is a creative way to tell the (almost) whole gospel story by using a christmas tree.
We told the gospel story this way last weekend at an agricultural high school in the south of Norway.
This kind of "devotion" is very good for pre-teens and teenagers.
They are well able to think abstractly and imagine what the symbolism we are using.
They like that things are happening, that we are cutting up a tree.



Hier is een creative manier om (bijna) het hele evangelie te vertellen met een kerstboom.
We hebben op deze manier het evangelie verteld op een agrarische hogeschool in het zuiden van Noorwegen.
Zo´n soort "aandacht" is erg geschikt voor tieners.
Ze kunnen al abstract denken en begrijpen de symboliek die we gebruiken.
Ook houden ze er erg van dat er dingen gebeuren, zoals dat we een kerstboom verzagen.
