Drukke Communicatie / Busy Communication

Een lange drukke tijd is nu voor mij begonnen. Mot Målet, het blad van YWAM Noorwegen is weer op gang gekomen en ik neem deel in de redactie. Met de huidige uitgave kijk ik als het ware alleen nog mee, en zal ik verschillende dingen van het grafisch design van het blad leren.

Dageljks krijg ik nu e-mails met artikels en foto´s die in het blad komen. Verder is er altijd veel communicatie naar de drukker en de verschillende mensen die stukjes schrijven en foto´s maken. Ik vind het erg interessant, ik begin een idee te krijgen van hoe de communicatie verloopt. Ondertussen kunnen we al een beetje beginnen met wat grafische dingen voor de hoofd artikelen.

Het onderwerp van deze uitgave is "singel en christen". Met onze kinderpagina´s voor het blad hebben we er voor gekozen om David en Jonatan te heben. Die waren hele goede vrienden, zoals je in 1 Samuel 18 tot 20 kunt lezen. Hierover gaan we een stripverhaal maken op de ene pagina. Op de andere pagina komt een kleurplaat. Kleurplaten zijn makkelijk te maken en een praktische oplossing voor deze drukke tijd.

De tekening is deze keer weer in waterverf, en gaat over drie verschillende dingen die ik in ooit eens gedaan of meegemaakt heb.

A long busy time has begun, and I have been working long hours. Things are starting up again with Mot Målet, the magazine of YWAM Norway, and I am now one of the editors. With the coming number I am following with all the communication towards all the writers and photographers and other people. It is a lot and I find it very interesting. At the same time am I learning how to do the graphic design for the magazine.

On an daily basis I get e-mail with articles and pictures and all kinds of communication. I am starting to get an Idea of how our communication is going for the magazine. In the mean time we can start with some design on the main articles. It is very tempting to start making illustrations for some of the other articles, that are moer difficult to get good photo´s for. To get good photo´s in not always easy.

The subject for the next issue will be "Single and Christian-life", and we will talk about htis through different articles. The way we will take it up on our children´s pages is that we will talk about David and Jonathan. They were very good and loyal friends and committed to eachter. I think it will be about commitment, wheter married or single. On one page we will have a comic about David and Jonathan´s friendship, on the other page there will be a coloring page. Coloring pages are easy for me to make, and that is very welcome in the busy times.

The drawing is again in watercolor, and is about three different things from my past, things I either have done myself or have happened to me.
