Boek af / Book finished

This is the last drawing that I had finished the evening before the deadline.

Pfoe, alle tekeningen voor het kinderboek zijn eingelijk af. Het is een intense maand geweest waar ik bijna elke avond gebruikt heb om alles af te krijgen. Op het einde hebben ze de deadline een paar keer moete verleggen, zodat ik het allemaal af kon krijgen. Een ander bedrijf heeft het boek "gezet" (tekst en plaatjes op de goede plek zetten), en die hebben steeds om mijn tekeningen moeten wachtten.

Afgelopen maandag-ochtend heb ik alles in moeten leveren. Zondag-avond 18:00 was alles helemaal af. Maandag-middag moest ik nog even wat aan een paar tekeningen veranderen, en toen kreeg ik ´s avonds een berichtje dat alles vooer elkaar was en dat de bestanden naar de drukkerij in Letland gestuurd waren.

Sinds die tijd heb ik weer behoorlijke problemen met mijn huid gehad. Vandaar dat ik gister niet gepost heb, ik heb de hele dag in bed gelegen. Het zal een combinatie geweest zijn van dat ik met de zlaf gestopt ben, en dat de spanning van het tekenen er af was. Nu gaat het al weer wat beter, maar ik ben nogsteeds rood hier en daar. Morgen heb ik nog een dag vrij om bij te komen.

Phew, all drawings for the children´s book are finally done. It has been an intense month, in which I have used almost every evening to draw. We had to move the deadline a few time for me to be able to all the work done. Another company has "set" (putting the text and illustrations together) the book, and they had to keep waiting for all my drawings to be done.

Last Monday-morning was the ultimate final deadline for all the illustrations, I had everything done at 18:00 the evening before. Monday afternoon I was asked to make some changes in some of the drawings. Then finally in the evening I got the message that the book had been sent to the printer in Latvia.

Since then I have just been sleeping, I got problems again with my skin. That is why I have not posted yesterday. It must have been a combination of that I stopped with the medication and the release of pressure from have worked on the children´s book and the DTS-magazine so intensively. I am doing better already, but I am still red at a few places. Tomorrow I have another day off to rest and recover.
