Drawing Diary: 14 and 15 January 2012

14 January: Steeples of Hedmark
many of the farms and barns here in this part of the country little steeples (most often with a bell) on them. I have been wondering why that is. I think it could be a warning method (for when the dinner is done and the farmer can come home from the field). Even the gym-hall at Grimerud has a steeple and a bell. I have never heard our bell.

15 January: Stories are about people
Another thing I like about our mechanic Kjell Olav (see 13 Jan) is that he will only talk about people. At the dinner table today we were figuring out about «the meaning of life», KO joined our table, when someone asked him the question, he was quiet for a moment. Then he started telling about some people he knew and about their lives.
