Drawing Diary: 5 and 6 August

5 August: All true love will, one day, behold its own image in the eyes of the beloved, and be humbly glad.
I have been listeing to Phantastes by George MacDonald for these past days, and came to the end today.
It is a wonderful book. One of the conclusions at the end goes like this: "I knew now, that it is by loving, and not by being loved, that one can come nearest the soul of another; …".

6 August: Painting and plucking.
I spent this day painting a bench and picking paint-driplets at the new place our Café UNO is going to be. We are opening on the 18th. Being in town the whole day, and bugging out on the paint-job made me forget all the knots of my design work for the DTS magazine.
