Drawing Diary: 14 and 15 September

14 September: Plum-picking.
After work, I picked a small bucket of plums and started skinning and de-stoning them. Our three small plum trees are bulging this year. At the end of the day I had two liters of plums in the freezer.

15 September: Slurping like a big one
Don´t know how legit this is, but I put in an extra effort in picking and freezing down more plums today, so I could write about it in my diary. The plum season is really starting to take over. Now, 4 liters is tucked away in our freezer. I want the frozen plums for smoothies in the springtime. I will also be looking like a slim Hagrid by then.

I don´t want the smoothies now, I want them later. This way I will have something to look forward to for the whole winter. Given that everything goes right. I have never done this before.

Just want you to know that even if I don't comment I look at and really enjoy your entries! Very inspiring and I always get a chuckle or two out of it.
I'm so glad you are keeping up with this! (and I'm learning too!)

Hello there,
Happy to hear that you are enjoying my daily writings and drawings. It is an extra motivation and encouragement to get to know another I am drawing for.
As I was saying to someone at dinner today: I make my days look lighter than many of her hours have been, that´s how I edit. At the end of all of them, I want to have something to enjoy and celebrate.
No one enjoys a leak in the roof.
