Drawing Diary: 10 and 11 January 2012

10 January: Today´s first customer
We had just opened the café and an older lady walked in. She was so happy and thankful for the work we are doing. She looked around in the café and at the menu. She wondered how we could manage the café with such low prices, and gave us a 200 Kroner note! That was encouraging.

11. Land of milk and even more milk
Grimerud got a big leftover delivery of both milk and meat. We get this from the Salvation Army, and they were not able to use it themselves. There is so much food going to waste in this country. The market seems to put their value on customers and pricing. When customers are king, than something else is not.
